Bob Hoiles
Defensive Softball Coach

                                                 
Bob Hoiles has been involved with fastpitch softball for nearly 20 years.


He has studied defensive skills with Howard Kobata, professional players and college All-Americans. He studied hitting with college coaches, local instructors and a three-time member of the U.S. Olympic team.


In 2015, Bob coached batters and infielders on the Beverly Bandits DeMarini team that won the ASA USA 18-Gold national championship. He previously served as infield coach for another team that had fifth and seventh place finishes at ASA USA nationals.

His former players and students are currently playing, have played or have been recruited to play at Pac-12, SEC, Big Ten and MAC schools as well as other conferences.


Those students also have played on travel teams that have won two national titles and had more than a dozen top 10 finishes at ASA USA and Premier Girls Fastpitch nationals.
